Welcome to Betchworth Forge.
My name is Tony Hazeltine and I have been at Betchworth now for over 21 years. I previously worked for 6 years at Abinger Forge, but was then given the opportunity to come to Betchworth and manage the forge for some years, before taking over the business 9 years ago.
As well as specialising in wrought ironwork, I can offer extensive experience in welding and fabrication, sheet metalwork and repairs. I can weld wrought iron, mild steel, cast iron, aluminium and stainless steel. Gas welding, brazing and silver soldering are also services that I can offer.
In this day and age when recycling is paramount, resharpening of garden shears and a tool rehandling service is also available.
I am happy to take commissions for new work, i.e. gates, railings, rose arches and fire hoods a particular speciality and much much more. I can also carry out repairs from a large piece of farm machinery, a light or a much loved saucepan lid!
